Who does the work: your install is run by Stellar’s in-house crew — certified electricians on our payroll, led on site by Red Seal journeyman Matthew Wesley, with roofing-grade care on every wall penetration, and signed off under Jordan Alexander, Red Seal Master Electrician, the electrician of record on every permit we’ve pulled since 2018. No subcontractors, ever — and our installation work is backed by a written 1-year installation warranty.
Common questions
Will I need an electrical panel upgrade?
Usually not. PowerSmart load management is built into the Emporia Pro — it monitors your panel and automatically adjusts the charge rate to what your service can safely deliver. That avoids the panel upgrade most 48A chargers force. We confirm your panel’s capacity at the free assessment before quoting anything.
Does it work with a Tesla?
Yes — order it with the NACS connector, which includes a sensor that opens compatible charge ports automatically. Every other EV uses the standard J1772 option. Either way it’s the same charger and the same installed price.
Can it charge from my solar panels?
Yes — that’s one of its signature features. With the Vue 3 monitor watching your whole home, the Emporia Pro can automatically charge from excess solar production instead of exporting it, and sync charging to off-peak rates. If you’re considering solar with Stellar, the two are designed to work together.
What does the installed price include?
Everything: the charger, the Vue 3 energy monitor wired and configured, a dedicated 240V circuit run by our in-house electricians, the electrical permit, the municipal inspection, and app setup before we leave. $3,099 + GST for 40A, $3,599 + GST for hardwired 48A. No surprise line items.
What warranty comes with it?

How long does the install take?
Typically a single visit for the install itself. We file the permit before, attend the inspection after, and walk you through the app before we leave.

Yes — everywhere within about 200 km of Edmonton: Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Leduc, Beaumont, Fort Saskatchewan, Red Deer, Camrose and more. Same crew, same fixed pricing, no trip charges.
