Common questions
Does it work with a Tesla?
Yes — the Pulsar Plus supports every EV. Teslas connect via NACS and everything else uses J1772. Charging stats, schedules, and locking all live in the myWallbox app either way.
Plug-in or hardwired — which should I choose?
The 40A version ($3,499 + GST) can run plug-in on a NEMA 14-50 outlet or hardwired. The 48A version ($3,999 + GST) is hardwired only — that’s the maximum charge speed, up to 50 km of range per hour. We’ll recommend one based on your panel at the free assessment.
Can it be installed outdoors in an Alberta winter?
Yes — the housing is watertight NEMA 4 and the unit is rated to −30°C, so it can live on an exterior wall or an unheated detached garage. We install it indoors and outdoors across the Edmonton region year-round.
What does the installed price include?
Everything: the charger, a dedicated 240V circuit run by our in-house electricians, the electrical permit, the municipal inspection, Power Boost load management configured, and app setup before we leave. No surprise line items.
What warranty comes with it?
